West Indies and the Caribbean (World Travel Map S.)

This map looks at the West Indies and the Caribbean which provide some of the most exotic holiday destinations in the world. Extending from the Everglades region of Southern Florida to Colombia and Venezuela, and from the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua and Costa Rica to the Windward Islands and Guyana, this is a detailed physical map with relief shown by a system of layer colouring. Additional features include National Parks, airports and airfields, road, rail and canal networks, pipelines, active volcanoes, reefs, mangrove swamps and marshland. Cuba, the Bahamas, Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Antilles, Lesser Antilles, Leeward Islands and Windward Islands are all mapped at the main scale of 1:3 250 000 (51 miles to one inch), with more detailed inset maps of St Vincent, St Lucia, Aruba, Curacao, New Providence, Montserrat, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Barbados, Grand Bahama Island, St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua, Grenade, Jamaica, Trinidad, Tobago, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands at the larger scale of 1:1 250 000 (20 miles to one inch).
