A crazy Helleresque black comedy murder mystery set in a Vietnam War Era military school. Drugs, sex and spit-shined murder.
I have been knocking around the professional theater/literary world directing, writing and producing for three decades. I have received writing awards in California, Texas, Mississippi, New York City and beautiful downtown Newark. I have won a playwriting award from the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities. It was George H W Bush's committee, but you take what you can get. I have been so close to getting a play done by the Manhattan Theatre Club so many times, they send me Christmas cards saying they miss rejecting me. I have been married twice, but I still haven't given up on the esteemed institution. It's like water skiing: every time you fall down, you learn one more thing not to do next time. I have completed two novels and started two more. My favorite thing about writing novels is that when I am done, I don't have to argue with a lighting designer. I currently teach young cowboys and Indians (the locals hate to be called native Americans) theatre and creative writing in Oklahoma.
