This is one of the most beautiful books of animal photography I have ever seen. Seeing a dog amidst the formalities of a couple s wedding day presents a lovely contrast. The photography and each accompanying essay is beautiful. Each picture and brief essay tells a story of a couple s special day and how their dog took part in the celebration. It is the perfect book to have on your coffee table. In fact, Wedding Dogs has found it s way to the top of my coffee table pile, because my little boys love looking at all of the cute doggies. It would make the perfect engagement present for a couple who has a precious dog of their own..... I am a dog lover, and this book absolutely tugged at my heart strings. I highly recommend it to dog lovers, anyone planning a wedding, and for people who enjoy looking at gorgeous photography. --Well Read Wife, May, 2013

Each page includes at least one delightful photo of a dog (or dogs) on their owners wedding day, and a short account of how they were involved. Some dogs only attended photo sessions, some spent the entire day with their owners, and others were either smuggled in, or managed to crash the parties all on their own. And not all of them behaved. There were howls of loneliness, fur covered tuxedos, and one pretty Lab-mix even took a potty break on her way down the aisle. Other dogs were angels. I wonder how you get dogs like that? Any of my three at a wedding would spell disaster, each spoiling the occasion in their own unique way. Despite that, it s a good thing I m already married, because after reviewing this book, I could see why you would want your dog(s) to accompany you on such a very special day.
