Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. N. D., ca 1960's, comb binding, with plastic covers, 6 x 4 inches, 70pp, 18 scenes in color, with transparent overlays that depict what the site looked like originally and what it looks like now. VG. I wish I had had this book when I was at some of those sites. Truly one of these overlays would have been worth a thousand words of description by our guide. There is also an eighteen page section dealing with St. Peter's Basilica, with illustrations. This little book no doubt involved a great deal of archaeological consultation and artistic design.
